Dr. Galeone was raised in Philadelphia and attended St. Joseph’s Preparatory High School, LaSalle University and Temple University School of Dentistry. He then studied at the National Children’s Medical Center in Washington, DC, where he received his training in pediatric dentistry. He was awarded the United States Air Force Special Commendation Medal for Outstanding Service upon his discharge from active duty and then founded North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates in Lansdale, PA. He was an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Temple University, President of both the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society and Delaware Valley Chapter of Hospital Dentists. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Montgomery County Association of Retarded Children.

Dr. Galeone maintains close ties to the dental profession though a number of organizations. He is the Editor Emeritus of the Pennsylvania Dental Association, Editor of the United States Section of the International College of Dentists and is a Past President of the American Association of Dental Editors. Included in his dental membership affiliations are the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists.
